| I have to say this:
** Oh man! I SUCK at learning how to change the layout (or background - are they just the same or not?! See, that's my POINT!)
Can anyone please help me out by learning how to do this method quickly
instead of spending almost two hours on that work?! However, I believe
I have created a good job so far though
**
I have depended on using the wireless high-speed internet at this local
coffeehouse named Arabica since I moved here from D.C. So, that's why I
am trying my best to blog as much as I can.
**
If you wonder why I haven't updated the picture profile or added any
recent pictures, then my camera was totally damaged last August (pls do
not ask me how it happened
). I seriously hope that I'll get a new ultrathin camera (for
Christmas? Nah... I'll probably buy it after Christmas if it's on
SALE) so it can fit in my purse!
| ..to be continued..
** I'll bid farewells to my family and Ohio soon! Yep, I got a new job as the case manager at the large non-profit organization (I am not quite sure if I'll feel comfortable with announcing the job location in public). Once I find a place to stay, I will depart Cleveland for good!
** With a lot of enthusiasm, I am looking forward to starting a new chapter of my life. Spending many years in DC have brought some good memories and bad times to me (For sure, I had been on an emotional roller coaster since last late December!! The wake-up call happened last late July so I will never forget this most traumatic experience I ever had in my entire life). However, at least, I am very grateful for being alive. Moreover, I thank God that I came home, getting a lot of support from my loved ones and getting my personal life straightened out. Looking back to my past, I recall telling my good friend a few NYEs ago that I am not the only one who made a lot of mistakes. Also, I said that I should not have dwelt on my past because I would not talk to him if I did not make those mistakes. At least, I am a human being like everyone else is; thus, a new 'hot' city is definitely presenting me with the opportunity to wipe the slate clean!!

DEAF ARTIST IS FINALIST IN BREASTFEEDING SYMBOL CONTEST
Deaf designer Matt Daigle is one of three finalists in an international competition to create a graphic symbol to indicate the availability of breastfeeding facilities. The contest is sponsored by Mothering Magazine and so far more than 100,000 votes have been counted. You can see the designs of the three finalists and vote on your favorite by clicking here. Daigle’s design is number 3.
(Actually, I am not CERTAIN if I was able to vote due to bizarre instructions!)

| ** Thanks to my wonderful Grampa (it's a he - I tend to pronounce that way!) - he left me a copy of this, knowing that I remain undaunted, despite many struggles for years; especially for the past several months. I love you, Grampa! **
TWENTY TRUTHS TO REMEMBER
1. Faith is the ability to not panic.
2. If you worry, you didn't pray. If you pray, you didn't worry.
3. As a child of God, prayer is kind of like calling home every day.
4. Blessed are the flexible, for they shall not be bent out of shape.
5. When we get tangled up in our problems, be still. God wants us to be still so He can untangle the knot.
6. Do the math. Count your blessings.
7. God wants spiritual fruit; not religious nuts.
8. Dear God: I have a problem. It's me.
9. Silence is often misinterpreted, not ever misquoted.
10. Laugh every day; it's like inner jogging.
11. The most important things in your home are the people.
12. Growing old is inevitable; growing up is optional.
13. There is no key to happiness. The door is always open.
14. A grudge is a heavy thing to carry.
15. He who dies with the most toys is still dead.
16. We do not remember days but moments. Life moves too fast so enjoy your precious moments.
17. Nothing is real to you until you experience it; otherwise, it's just hearsay.
18. It's all right to sit on your pity pot every now and again. Just be sure to flush when you are done.
19. Surviving and living your life successfully require courage. The goals and dreams you're seeking require courage and risk-taking. Learn from the turtle, it only makes progress when it sticks out its neck.
20. Be more concerned with your character than your reputation. Your character is what you really are while your reputation is merely what others think you are.
No matter the storm, when you are with God, there's always a rainbow waiting.
Leave gentle fingerprints on the soul of another for the angels to read.

| This picture was taken (last Sunday night) after several hours the official announcement regarding the successful termination of JKF's upcoming presidency! Since I no longer lived in DC, I had this urge to celebrate as I could feel everyone's emotions! Please pardon this blurry picture - my new friend was more than willing to use his mobile phone by taking a picture of me showing my pride for Gallaudet because my SK2 would not cooperate with the dark scenery!
** Whoever sent the hoax concerning JKF's attempted suicide yesterday, this person unquestionably has no respect! Although Dr. Fernandes lacks empathy toward her previous colleagues and students from my point of view, she does have feelings like we do. **

"NO MORE JKF!" | | |
